The Douglas A-4M came with a delta wing so small that it didn't need to be folded for storage on aircraft carriers. The Navy and Marine Corps used it as a ground-attack aircraft, and the Blue Angels even flew it between 1974 and 1986. The Skyhawk was an integral aircraft in the Vietnam War. It was what John McCain was flying when he was shot down in 1967.
This 1/72 scale diecast model from High Flying Models portrays the A-4M used by the Israeli Air Force (IAF).
IAF was the largest single importer of A-4s from the U.S. Most noticeably, the A-4M served during the Yom Kippur war between Egypt, Syria and Israel.
